May 14—SARTELL — Thirteen Class AAA teams who are vying to compete at the state tournament in June, and two AA teams, gathered at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell on Wednesday for another regular-season test.
The Bemidji High School boys golf team took ninth with a score of 319, just 22 shots off Orono in the lead and 21 strokes behind second-place Sartell, the host school.
Weston Seitz notched the best score for the Lumberjacks, finishing with a 77 in 15th. Jackson Fogelson was two shots back in 19th. Beckett Grand (81, 46th), Graham Fish (82, 56th), Axel Burlingame (82, 56th) and Conrad Foss (88, 80th) rounded out the day for BHS.
Orono's Dylan Kringen shot four-under-par to lead all individuals in Sartell.
