Netflix has been experimenting with live sports in recent years, and Wednesday marks a leap in that regard with the streaming service's first MLB game.
Wednesday's Opening Day game between the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants will air exclusively on Netflix at 8:05 p.m. ET. Let's get into what we know:
Just log into Netflix and look for the banner promoting the game.
Barry Bonds, Anthony Rizzo and Albert Pujols and former ESPN anchor Elle Duncan.
"Thing," the detached hand from Netflix's hit show Wednesday, will do the honors.
Netflix aired two NFL games on Christmas last year and also found massive success with a boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. Going forward, Netflix will continue to work with the NFL and MLB, as the streaming service will also air the annual Field of Dreams game and Home Run Derby.
