Glenn Irwin has been declared unfit for racing after a crash in Saturday's British Superbike opening race at Snetterton.

Irwin has been transferred to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with pelvic pain following a four-rider incident at turn two of the opening lap and will be further assessed.

The Nitrous Competitions Ducati rider was also involved in a crash at Snetterton in 2025, which sidelined him for almost two months and ended his hopes of a championship challenge.

The race was restarted over 14 laps with Bradley Ray declared the winner for his seventh consecutive victory after a red flag halted the race again in the final lap.

Hager PBM's Scott Redding finished in second 0.272 seconds behind, while Championship leader Kyle Ryder was a further three seconds back in third.
