Rookie minicamp is underway for the Indianapolis Colts and included are 38 players in for a tryout.
Along with the tryouts, the Colts' eight draft picks and 14 undrafted rookie signings are also participating.
The weekend event is an opportunity for these first-year players to begin the acclimation process to the NFL level.
For most, this will be their first time at the Colts' facility, and it's also when they begin the all-important task of learning the playbook. On-field practices are also a part of the minicamp schedule.
With the Colts' roster at full capacity, if they are going to sign a tryout player, a corresponding roster cut will have to be made in order to make room.
