Vitality T20 Blast 2026 preview and format
The Vitality T20 Blast 2026 is the 24th edition of England & Wales’ domestic T20 competition involving all 18 counties.
There will be a new three-group format (North, Central & West, and South) as compared to the previous two-group system. Each team will play 12 matches in the group stages against teams in their group, home and away, apart from crossover matches.
Teams can earn four points for a win with Net Run Rate (NRR) being used as a tie-breaking parameter.
The revamped schedule is meant to have a compressed tournament before the start of The Hundred, an idea which several people were clamoring for.
When is Vitality T20 Blast 2026?
This year’s event takes place between May 22 and July 18, with Finals Day to be hosted at Edgbaston. Group stage games end on July 12, followed by the quarter-finals on July 15 and Finals Day on July 18.

Vitality T20 Blast 2026: TV channel and live stream details in the UK
In the UK, select Vitality Blast 2026 games will be telecast live by Sky Sports, either through Sky Sports Cricket channel or Sky Sports Mix.
Sky Sports will air around 23 matches, including matches from the knockout stage and the Finals Day.
Viewers with a basic Sky Sports subscription can access the matches using the Sky Go app on mobile phones, tablets, and smart TV sets.
Viewers without a full Sky subscription can still stream matches through NOW TV.
All non-televised games will be available to stream free of cost on the websites of ECB, the England Cricket app, and the YouTube pages of the County sides.
