Team USA and Venezuela will face off Tuesday night for the 2026 World Baseball Classic title.
The U.S. punched its ticket to the final with a 2-1 win over the Dominican Republic on Sunday, while Venezuela advanced after a 4-2 comeback victory over Italy on Monday.
Right-hander Nolan McLean is set to start for Team USA, while Venezuela will counter with left-hander Eduardo Rodríguez.

The game is 7 p.m. CT Tuesday at loanDepot park in Miami.
Have the U.S. and Venezuela played each other in the WBC?
According to MLB.com, these teams have met five times in the WBC. As of now, the U.S. holds a 3-2 record when playing Venezuela.
Their first matchup came during pool play in 2009, when the U.S. cruised to a 15–6 win behind home runs from Kevin Youkilis, Adam Dunn and Ryan Braun.
Their most recent meeting was in the 2023 quarterfinals, where the U.S. pulled out a 9–7 victory thanks to Trea Turner’s go-ahead grand slam.
