The Ohio State Women's basketball team is set to face Montana State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes earned a No. 4 seed, which allows them to host the first and second-round games of their part of the bracket.
OSU limps into the madness of March, having gone just 5-5 in its last 10 games after starting the season 20-1. To be fair, three of those losses came at the hands of UCLA twice and USC once. Both are No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. The other two losses were courtesy of Maryland and Indiana, both tournament teams as well.
Montana State rolls into Columbus with an impressive 30-3 record, but the Bobcats haven't quite played the level of competition as the Bucks. MSU can light up the scoreboard, averaging nearly 73 points per game, and does play solid defense, holding opponents to under 56 per contest. The Buckeyes cannot afford to take this Bobcat team lightly.

Ohio State 74 Montana State 60: With the exception of one game this season, the Ohio State Women have been dominant against lesser opponents. Montana State is a very good team, but the combination of playing at home along with a more talented roster and the Buckeyes should be able to cruise.
