The Savannah Bananas and the Indianapolis Clowns begin a three-game series in Cincinnati over the weekend. The series will be played at Great American Ballpark, the home of the Cincinnati Reds.

The new Indianapolis Clowns, who are on the Banana Ball World Tour, played in Indianapolis on May 15 and 16.
The original Clowns were founded in the 1930s as the Miami Giants before becoming the Ethiopian Clowns. After moving to Cincinnati in the early 1940s and starting play in the Negro Leagues, the Clowns moved a few seasons later and became the Indianapolis Clowns. The team then became a barnstorming team that played in the final years of the Negro Leagues.
The Clowns officially made their Banana Ball World Tour debut this year, joining the Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, and Loco Beach Coconuts as teams on The Banana Ball World Tour.
