How far will the Falcons travel during the 2026 NFL season?

The Atlanta Falcons' schedule will give them at least one advantage over most teams this coming season.

Despite having to fly to Spain for an international game in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Falcons have a relatively light travel schedule compared to the rest of the NFL in 2026.

According to this chart, only six teams will be flying fewer total miles than Atlanta this coming season. At the opposite end, the San Francisco 49ers and LA Rams - who play Week 1 in Australia - have the toughest travel schedules.

The distance from Atlanta to Madrid is around 4,400 miles, so with a round-trip, the Spain game accounts for almost one half of the Falcons' total flight miles this season. It will be interesting to see when their bye week comes this year - ideally it would be immediately after Week 9's big trip.

We won't have wait too long long to find out. The latest reporting suggests that the Falcons will be releasing their full schedule earlier than usual and fans won't have to wait until the NFL's release tonight. Here's what we know so far:
