Almost two weeks have passed since Paris Saint-Germain faced Arsenal in the final of the Champions League, from which they emerged victorious.

After a whole season facing great European clubs and having delivered a semifinal against Bayern Munich worthy of a suspense movie, PSG accomplished the great feat of lifting the trophy.

But this is not the first time for the club, because for the second consecutive year, PSG was crowned the winner of the most important competition in Europe, something that many years ago was seen as very far away.

The Parisian team has traveled a long way since its first year as champions, and, above all, the great work the entire team has done behind the scenes is recognized by the players, the board, the Campus staff, and, above all, the coach, Luis Enrique.

The Spanish coach arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023, when the club had a bad reputation, and, despite some flashes of greatness in Europe, it could not take the next step, even with great players like the Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.

However, after the star's departure, many lost faith that the team could even get any further. But Enrique took the reins and did the impossible.

Now, after two consecutive Champions League titles, the club president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has elevated Enrique's status by praising the Spaniard's abilities.

In recent statements, the Qatari acknowledged that signing him had been the best decision of his 15 years at the Parisian club, assuring that throughout his entire term he had already been making calls to bring him in, until finally his wish was fulfilled.

"He has revolutionized football. Not only at Paris Saint-Germain, but in all of soccer… he really is the best coach in the world."
- Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Al-Khelaifi even revealed jokingly that he came to fear Enrique because he was pushing the limits within the club.

The Spaniard became so obsessed that on one occasion, he spent 8 months without leaving the facilities, working from day to night.

"Luis Enrique did not leave the PSG facilities for 8 consecutive months. He worked from 8:00 to 21:00, to the point that we began to think that he had gone crazy… he even scared us."
- Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Thanks to this, Enrique achieved what no one believed possible, healing a team that did not know how to work in harmony, reflecting his commitment to getting PSG ahead no matter what.

Finally, the businessman left clues about what everyone is wondering. The future of Enrique seems to follow the same path as it does now, so his long-term agreement could be extended.

"The coach is very happy with us, very happy in Paris. We are proud of him. What do you think that means?"
- Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
This has led fans all over the world to wonder, could Enrique get the club ahead if its current stars leave? Many doubt, but after seeing that he could achieve almost perfect harmony, everything is possible under his command.
