Congratulations to Lake Central's Maddie Such and Concord's Morgan Weatherholt on garnering co-Player of the Week honors for March 31-April 5! Such, a sophomore pitcher, worked a three-hit shutout of Munster with 14 strikeouts, then pitched four scoreless innings against Penn, allowing just two hits with 18 strikeouts. Weatherholt was seriously injured in a car crash on Nov. 1. The senior Indiana Tech commit was honored ahead of the Minutemen's season opener vs. Fairfield, taking a walk from friend Madison Jones with both teams lining their respective baselines.

Here were the top performers from the past week.
Crafton batted .350 across six games, highlighted by a pair of 2-for-3 performances Friday. She also struck out 37 batters across 36 innings pitched, highlighted by her 10-K effort in an eight-inning outing vs. Bloomington North, a nine-K complete game vs. Columbus North and a seven-K outing against defending champ HSE in six innings pitched.
The junior catcher started her week with back-to-back 3-for-4 performances. She drove in two RBIs and scored a run against Wood Memorial, then collected an RBI and two runs scored in a loss to Vincennes Lincoln. Elliott also swiped three bases for the week.
The Irish ace recorded wins over West Lafayette Harrison, Lutheran and Silver Creek (one-hit shutout), striking out 34 of the 61 batters she faced and issuing just five walks. Feczko, who also went 5-for-12 at the plate, allowed just one unearned run on two hits across 27 innings.
The freshman is off to a blistering start, batting .714 with 10 hits, six RBIs, five runs scored and three homers. She went yard twice in an 18-8 win over Lawrence Central, one of her three multi-hit games for the week.
Hilliard went 5-for-8 on the week. She was 4-for-5 with a couple doubles, three RBIs, four runs scored and two stolen bases against Bethesda Christian, then went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and an additional stolen base vs. Triton Central.
The senior was nearly perfect in her eight plate appearances this week, clocking seven hits and seven RBIs. She drove in five of those runs against Plainfield, clocking a double and a home run in the 10-2 win.
The IU commit batted .706 with nine runs scored, seven RBIs, three doubles, a triple and a home run for the Indians, who claimed the Horseshoe Classic crown with wins over Center Grove, East Central and host Pendleton Heights.
Jones pitched nine innings across two blowout wins, allowing zero earned runs on six total hits. She fanned four and allowed just one hit in three innings vs. Greenwood, then totaled 15 strikeouts against Lutheran.
The junior is batting .583 (7-for-12) through her first four games of the season. She's doubled twice, homered twice, drawn five walks and driven in six runs. KRamer's week was highlighted by a 2-for-3 showing vs. Decatur Central that included a homer, three RBIs and two runs scored.
The sophomore went the distance against Tri-Central, pitching seven shutout innings with one hit allowed, 11 strikeouts and a walk in the 2-0 victory. She also reached base on errors twice, logged a hit and scored a run. She went 2-for-3 with a double at the plate vs. Western over the weekend.
Leugers hit for the cycle against Southport on Saturday. She drove in five RBIs, helping the Grizzly Cubs to an 11-4 win.
The sophomore batted .500 with five RBIs over the weekend. She delivered the game-winning two-RBI single against Decatur Central and delivered a few highlight-reel plays, including a diving catch in center. Moore also went strikeout-free for the weekend.
Reed completed a 2-for-4 performance vs. Martinsville with a game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh. The junior scored two runs and stole two bases in the win. She had two RBIs in the opener vs. Edgewood and scored a pair of runs vs. Shakamak.
Rutherford clocked three hits in three at-bats with a couple RBIs and a run scored vs. Trinity Lutheran, then smacked an RBI triple and came around to score in a 3-2 win over Eastern. She also allowed one run on five hits with 10 strikeouts over seven innings vs. Trinity Lutheran. Rutherford went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored vs. Lanesville (and pitched a four-hitter with nine Ks) and clocked an RBI double against South Central.
Seiler struckout 19 across seven innings in a 3-1 win over Boonville.
The senior finished 3-for-4 with an RBI in a win over Greencastle, then notched two hits, two runs and two RBIs in a win over Parke Heritage. She stole her first two bases of the season and spun a two-hit shutout of Greencastle with a walk and nine Ks. She picked up the win over Barr-Reeve, allowing one run on three hits with 12 strikeouts, and went 4-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.
The senior went a combined 4-for-6 with two doubles and four RBIs in routs of Valparaiso and Merrillville to start the week. She also pitched a five-inning, one-hitter with 11 Ks against Valpo.
Summers scored a run against Center Grove then clocked four hits over her next two games, including three (a double, triple and homer) in a rout of Bishop Chatard. She had two RBIs vs. Columbus North, and drove in four runs and scored twice against Chatard.
Thirty-seven (37) strikeouts over 14 innings at the Castle Invite. The Virginia Tech commit allowed just three hits and issued only one walk. She K'd eight of the first nine hitters she faced vs. Castle.
The senior pitcher totaled 25 strikeouts over 15 innings pitched, and allowed zero earned runs on 10 hits. She was at her best in complete games against Jasper and Crown Point, accounting for 21 strikeouts across the two outings.
