Halls football athlete Jarrell Chandler has committed to Clemson, he revealed on a livestream with Rivals on May 18.

Chandler fielded numerous offers from power conference schools and narrowed his list down to Tennessee, Miami and Vanderbilt before picking Clemson.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound rising senior is a four-star safety prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He's the No. 11 player in Tennessee and No. 24 safety recruit in the country.

Chandler played on both sides of the ball during Halls' historic run to the Class 5A state semifinals. As a receiver, he caught 42 passes for 691 yards and seven touchdowns. The 2025 PrepXtra second-team selection also racked up 94 total tackles, eight pass deflections, six tackles for loss, an interception and a fumble recovery.
