Jack Grealish has shut down talk he was snubbed for Manchester City’s pre-season tour as the playmaker continues his return from injury.

The 30-year-old made a £100 million ($133 million) move from boyhood club Aston Villa to the Etihad Stadium in 2021 and has won three Premier League titles.

Grealish was part of Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning side of 2022-23 but joined Everton on loan last season having slipped down the pecking order at City.

“It’s my duty to try to coach them. Jack is here. I have a good relationship with Jack since I left.

“Also, we keep in touch, and the reason why is because he has a big heart and he is a very good guy. So this is the reason why and then we see what happens.”
