After winning the 2026 West Coast Conference Tournament title in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Gonzaga Bulldogs women (24-9, 14-4 WCC) received the No. 12 seed in the Sacramento region. Coach Lisa Fortier’s Zags will play the No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels at the Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday, March 20.

These two programs are familiar with each other on this national stage, when Ole Miss handled Gonzaga 71-48 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament opener.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Gonzaga is a 14.5 underdog against Ole Miss. The Zags’ moneyline is -1500, +790 for the Rebels.

This is Fortier’s ninth March Madness appearance since being hired back in 2014. Overall, Gonzaga has now made the Big Dance a remarkable 16 times since 2007.

Fortier has reached the second weekend twice in her illustrious career with the Zags in 2015 and 2024.
