Giannis Antetokounmpo's future is the hottest topic in the NBA right now. The two-time MVP is expected to be moved, either ahead of the Feb. 5 trade deadline or during the summer. And, the Golden State Warriors are viewed as a front-runner to pry him out of Milwaukee, potentially pairing him with Stephen Curry for the next few years.

According to ESPN's Anthony Slater, the Warriors have already registered their interest with the Bucks, while making their willingness to produce a sizeable offer clear.

"League sources told ESPN that the Warriors have contacted the Bucks in the past week and expressed their firm interest in Antetokounmpo and their willingness to put a substantial offer on the table regardless of his calf strain and undetermined return timetable," Slater reported.

Golden State isn't the only team with a reported interest in Giannis. There will undoubtedly be a bidding war for his services. However, the Warriors have a plethora of young talent, salary-matching contracts and future draft picks that could allow them to build a sizeable offer.

If Giannis does join the Warriors, they will likely become one of the favorites to win a championship in the coming years. On paper, Curry and Giannis are an ideal match. Of course, Golden State's front office would need to round out the roster with the right talent. Fortunately, the Warriors have experience in building contending teams, so that shouldn't prove to be too much of a problem.
