It appears as if New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is more than ready to return to football action after his ankle injury last season.
On Saturday, May 30, Skattebo hit a home run on the first pitch he saw in teammate Brian Burns' celebrity softball charity event. As the running back came back to home plate after rounding the bases, he did a backflip and stuck the landing with no apparent discomfort.
That celebration seems to be a good sign for Skattebo's injury recovery progress. The running back is seven months removed from a dislocated ankle he suffered in Week 8's game against the Philadelphia Eagles last year. The ailment was severe enough to require surgery, ending Skattebo's rookie season prematurely.
