Odell Beckham Jr. encouraged Giants to hire John Harbaugh this offseason | USAToday.com
The veteran was highly impressed with the head coach despite playing under him for just one year. He told the front office that Harbaugh could change the team’s culture and credited him with being one of the most attentive coaches in football.
“I kind of got a little call when they were looking at coaches. I won’t say any names. I mentioned him specifically. I was in Baltimore. This is a man of God. This is a leader of men,” Beckham said. “Truly from a football aspect, in those meetings, how attentive he was. Those little things that come up in a game that sometimes you often take for granted, he’s very much on it. He leads in a very good way. He just was one of my favorite coaches that I ever had. I spoke very highly about him when they asked me who should be here. I believe they got just the right man for the job. Someone who can actually change the culture or at least start it in the right direction.”

2026 NFL Offseason: The Biggest Question Facing Every NFC Team Entering Summer | FOX Sports
Can Giants QB Jaxson Dart Make A Second-Year Leap? Dart is learning a new system, with former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy taking over as Giants OC under new head coach John Harbaugh. There’s also a question of whether New York has enough firepower around the 2025 first-round pick.
The biggest concern is star receiver Malik Nabers, who, after tearing his ACL last season, had a cleanup procedure earlier this offseason. Nabers’ availability for the start of the season remains unclear, and fellow receiver Darius Slayton has also been sidelined with a core muscle injury. The signing of Odell Beckham Jr. is nostalgic for New York fans, but at 33 years old, there’s no guarantee that he even makes the roster.

6. Giants QB: Jaxson Dart Coach: John Harbaugh. Dart showed during his rookie season that he has an explosive skill set. He can really run — though he needs to protect himself when he does so, because the amount of hits he took as a rookie is not sustainable — and he showed that he can make plays outside the structure of the offense in the passing game. He wasn’t quite as electric when working inside the structure, but that’s the type of thing that can improve over time. Harbaugh is a good coach. He manages the game well, but because he was a former special-teams coach, he relies on his coordinators on both sides of the ball. Matt Nagy is… not an encouraging hire to run the offense. That’s why we couldn’t justify putting the Giants higher than this.
Jermaine Eluemunor on his desire to be a Giants great
"We have this picture up in the room of the old pros that have played with the Giants. I envision my name being up there. That's my goal, I don't see why not. I was one of the best right tackles in the league last year."

How John Harbaugh is stepping up Giants’ injury prevention efforts | New York Post
The Giants are also bringing in four new pieces of equipment to enhance strength training and testing of body movement, attempting to give each player specific information to gauge his own fitness and risk of injury.
“There’s no common dominators with any of the three guys, there’s no common denominators with loads or anything else,’’ Harbaugh said of the three Achilles tears. “There is a common denominator with the movement pattern when they tore it. Kind of a reset, stepping back reset deal that happened. We try to caution our guys against that.’’
