New York Giants rookie Malachi Fields has been taking "a ton" of reps with the first-team offense this spring.

Selected by the Giants in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft, Fields was a standout performer throughout his collegiate career at Virginia and Notre Dame. The wide receiver could quickly carve out an everyday role in New York’s offense during his rookie campaign.

The talented route runner has seen significant snaps with the first-team offense and is expected to continue thriving during training camp this summer, especially with Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton (sports hernia) still recovering.

Fields recorded 2,479 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns over five seasons at Virginia and Notre Dame. The former collegiate star is an elite athlete, standing 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds with excellent speed and strength.

While Fields will need to compete for a consistent role on the Giants’ offense in 2026, his strong performance during minicamp suggests he is headed in the right direction.
