The Big 12 baseball tournament begins on Tuesday night at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, and it should be an interesting week.
The tournament features only the top 12 teams, who are competing in a single-elimination format. That means that the 2025 tournament champion, Arizona, will not have the chance to repeat after a disappointing regular season.
Regular-season champion Kansas and No. 2-seeded West Virginia are looking to secure regional hosting bids in the NCAA tournament, while other squads like Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, UCF and Arizona State look to shore up their postseason resumes.
There aren't many teams sitting squarely on the bubble in this league, but TCU could use a nice run if it wants to feel good about its chances heading into Selection Monday.
