Florida State has added another blue-chip prospect to its target list in the 2028 recruiting cycle. Four-star athlete Cayden Lancelin announced on social media that the Seminoles have made him a scholarship offer.

"#AGTG!! After a great conversation with @Coach_Norvell , I am blessed and honored to receive an offer from Florida State University," Lancelin wrote.

His offer list has taken off since the beginning of this year. Tennessee, LSU, TCU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Syracuse have all offered in 2026. He also has offers from Miami, Auburn, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Baylor, Houston, and more.

The 6-foot, 180-pounder plays wide receiver at Westgate High School in New Iberia, Louisiana, but he also plays some free safety. He's also a multi-sport athlete, as he competes in basketball as well as track and field.

Lancelin is the nation's No. 83 player nationally and the No. 8 athlete per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 1 prospect in the state of Louisiana.
