It’s been three years since Francis Ngannou left the UFC, but he still keeps an eye on what’s happening in the heavyweight division.
The former UFC heavyweight champion split from Dana White’s organisation in 2023 after a contract dispute turned sour.
Three years later, Ngannou watched as one of his former opponents delivered a memorable performance at UFC 327.
Josh Hokit edged Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision after three thrilling rounds on Saturday night. Francis Ngannou took to social media to applaud both heavyweights, who put on a Fight of the Year candidate at UFC 327.
The Cameroonian praised his former opponent after seeing him go to war with Josh Hokit.
“That was insane,” the Cameroonian knockout artist tweeted. “I can’t believe it went all 3 rounds. Curtis has the heart of a lion.”
