In each of the last two years, the Los Angeles Rams have reached the playoffs. After losing to the Detroit Lions in the wild-card round two years ago, they reached the divisional round in 2024, only to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles in a snowy thriller.
Can they go another step further in 2025?
FOX Sports’ Henry McKenna made his predictions for the entire NFL season, picking which teams will make the playoffs and laying out how the postseason will go. He has the Rams earning the No. 2 seed in the NFC with the Washington Commanders as the top seed, a show of how highly McKenna thinks of both teams.
In the playoffs, the Rams run through an NFC East gauntlet on their way to the Super Bowl. McKenna has them beating the Cowboys in the wild-card round, the Eagles in the divisional round and the Commanders in the NFC title game to reach the Super Bowl and face the Bills.
In the Super Bowl, McKenna picks the Bills to beat the Rams, 27-26. It would be a heartbreaking end to a special season by Los Angeles, coming up just short against an AFC East team in the big game once again.
The NFC is very much up in the air when it comes to the top teams in the conference, but the Rams are certainly a Super Bowl contender. And if they can battle their way through the NFC playoffs, anything can happen on the biggest stage in the sport.

In the NFC, it’s a similar story with McVay, who has carried his team through some rough patches since he and Matthew Stafford won the Super Bowl. L.A. needed to rebuild — or at least renovate — its roster. There has been plenty of turnover from the stars who helped the Rams win last time. Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Jalen Ramsey and Bobby Wagner are all gone. This seems like the year when that construction project comes to an end. And in the NFC Championship, everything looks as picturesque on L.A.'s roster as McVay could imagine.
