Fox News reporter Abby Hornacek got a wild on-air moment on Saturday’s Fox & Friends when she asked Kennedy Blades to show her a suplex live from Tampa, Florida. Hornacek, who was covering the Real American Freestyle wrestling event, said Blades had “been nice enough to offer” the move, and then stepped in to try it herself.
Blades, a pro wrestler and Paris Olympic silver medalist, made the throw look easy. Hornacek said she had watched “a bunch of videos” before the hit so she could learn how to land, but admitted, “I didn’t really know exactly how it worked.”
She also said the two women were about the same height, and Blades told her she was not used to suplexing someone who was 5-foot-11. Hornacek said that extra leverage made the move even more intense.

The suplex sent Hornacek flying through the air and onto the mat, where Blades pinned her. Hornacek laughed right away and said, “Amazing! I don’t think I can be a wrestler.” She also gave Blades a high five and told viewers, “That was a lot of fun.”
Back in the studio, Hornacek said she was fine. “The mic pack did not survive, but I did, luckily,” she said. She added, “I feel great. I feel like a million bucks.”
Still, she admitted the hit felt huge, saying it was like “being thrown off of a skyscraper.” Blades later said she used proper technique and turned at the end so Hornacek would not land on her neck.
