Former Colts punter Pat McAfee takes a selfie with fans after making the team's pick during the second day of the NFL Draft Friday, April 26, 2019, in Nashville, Tenn. Gw42699

On Thursday, the NFL announced that Indianapolis Colts former All-Pro punter, now turned popular mainstream media personality Pat McAfee will announce the team’s ‘Day 2’ draft picks.

Currently, the Colts have Pick #47 (2nd Round) and Pick #78 (3rd round) for McAfee to potentially call in.

McAfee played from the Colts from 2009-2016, and is arguably the greatest punter in Colts franchise history, and one of the best in his playing era league-wide. He was an NFL First-Team All-Pro (2014) and 2x NFL Pro Bowler (2014, 16) for Indianapolis before retiring because of lingering leg injuries and the greater pursuit of off-the-field entertainment endeavors.

He’s now the outspoken host of ESPN’s popular ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ which has gained national notoriety (as well as an occasional WWE personality and ringside commentator among his other entertainment endeavors).

Of course, it’s not the first time that McAfee has announced a Colts draft pick at the NFL Draft podium, having infamously done as much already when back in 2019, he trolled Tennessee Titans fans by calling in Indianapolis’ 3rd round pick of former Horseshoe linebacker Bobby Okereke in the Music City.

While Okereke’s current career trajectory looks like it’ll fall short of Pat’s self-proclaimed future ‘Hall of Fame’ status, it was entertaining nevertheless.

Regardless of what McAfee says this time around, it should be fun and engaging for Colts fans.
