Forest target Vítor Pereira as fourth manager of the season
Nottingham Forest are reportedly in talks with Vítor Pereira to take over after the dismissal of Sean Dyche last night.
Dyche was sacked following Wednesday's draw with Pereira's former club Wolverhampton Wanderers with Forest having already dismissed Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou this term.
According to journalist Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport, the club have held talks with Pereira to ensure that Forest stave off relegation with the team currently in 17th place – three points above West Ham United in the drop zone.
Pereira has already worked with Evangelos Marinakis at Olympiacos having been brought in midway through the 2014/15 season.
The Portuguese coach made a quick impact at Wolves towards the end of last season, winning 12 of his 25 games in charge but won just two of his 13 this season in all competitions.
Should Pereira be appointed then he will have a tough run of fixtures with a Europa League double-leg play-off with Fenerbahçe on the horizon as well as league games against Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Manchester City.
