Four-star defensive lineman Karlos May will be making his college choice soon. He was originally going to make his decision on Aug. 11, but he's moved it up to July 18.
Out of all the offers that May has had, which has been around 40, he's down to just four schools that he's choosing from. They are the Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, Auburn Tigers, and the Florida State Seminoles.
May took an unofficial visit to Tallahassee in April, and he began his official visit tour at the end of May by visiting the FSU. When it comes to how they've recruited him up until this point, May says that he feels like he's been an important prospect for them to try and secure.
"I think they prioritize me because they need defensive tackles in my position group. They’re trying to make me feel like a priority at the moment. They have a need my position, they have shown me that, and I like what I saw down there," May told Rivals.
The Seminoles have four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro, three-star edge Jaxon Holly, and three-star defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr. committed in the 2027 cycle. While there's some nice talent there, May would undoubtedly be the top player in the trenches defensively if FSU was to land him.
As things sit right now, Georgia is leading in May's recruitment with Ohio State right behind them. So, this is clearly an uphill battle for Florida State. However, they still need to finish strong in terms of their efforts over the next month before he announces his decision.
