The 2026 World Series of Poker is down to its final nine players who will compete for a first-place prize of $10 million.
This year's tournament started eight days ago with 9,208 players.
The nine players still competing for the grand prize are Lucas Jumalon, Rami Hammoud, Jamie Shaevel, Greg Mueller, Michael Gagliano, Mario Boos, Lauri Saaskilahti, Han Feng and Evagoras Evagorou.
Jumalon, 22, has the biggest chip count heading into the final table at 194 million in chips. The group's lowest chip count is held by Evagorou, who has 22.5 million chips.
The reigning WSOP champion, Michael Mizrachi, was eliminated on the fifth day of the competition. He finished 241st, but still earned $50,000 for his efforts. This year's main event is now guaranteed to have a new champion, as none of the nine remaining players has won it before.
Each of the final competitors is guaranteed a payout of at least $1 million, per ESPN. The way the schedule shapes out is that there is now a several-week break before the final table action begins.
The remaining players will return to Paris Las Vegas with final table action scheduled from August 3 to August 5 on various ESPN channels.
