There is a HUGE Filipino population in Oahu - you can find Filipino food pretty much everywhere. Chicken adobo

Until recently I had never tried wild caught, fresh salmon. Someone who had gone fishing in Alaska brought us back some. Big difference! The farm raised salmon is too fatty/mushy/bland in comparison.

I forgot they sold Poke at Costco in Hawaii.

My wife and I are going to have to load up on that! We have been on a high protein diet and I'm tired of chicken breasts.

Just had some awesome Poke with a Wasabi sauce from Costco the other day. We are going to head back for more.

This. Last time I was in Hawaii I ate so much of it I was almost sick. My nephew's wife is from Hawaii and she made some a few weeks back. I was in heaven.
