MONROE — The Louisiana Sports Writers Association announced its Class 2A All-State baseball and softball teams for 2026 on Thursday, June 4.

Northeast Louisiana is well-represented on these teams as Ouachita Christian's Ridge Coats was named the Most Outstanding Player in baseball. The graduating senior, and Arkansas Three Rivers signee, was a major contributor to the Eagles clinching the Division IV select championship as he batted .391 with 11 home runs and 55 RBIs.

Fellow OCS graduates Reed Smalling (.378 average) and Ethan Polk (7-1 on the mound), as well as Mangham senior Carson Mooney (.369), also made Class 2A All-State. OCS senior Will Raymond and sophomores Aaron Eldridge and Ethan Higgins, Division IV nonselect champion Mangham senior Blake Pierce and sophomore Colby Casey and Oak Grove senior Tyler Strickland and freshman Jenson Hurley were All-State honorable mentions.

In softball, D-IV nonselect champion Oak Grove sophomores Kinley Cox (13-5, 1.46 ERA) and Caroline Bradley (.419, 13 home runs, 34 RBIs), OCS senior Kennedy Reppond (.462), Winnfield junior Karley Caskey (17-4, 1.57 ERA; .404 average) and sophomore Kaylie Callender (.507) and D'Arbonne Woods Charter sophomore Joley Bennett (.548, 14 home runs, 54 RBIs) all made Class 2A All-State.

OCS senior Addie Morris, junior Kelsey Bruce and freshman Gracie Price; Oak Grove juniors Avery Hankins and Fallyn Moore; Woods senior Lylah Jones and sophomore Aubrey Zachary; Mangham senior Abbigail Hardie and Winnfield junior Santana Harris were All-State honorable mentions.
