With Labaron Philon off to the NBA and Aden Holloway embroiled in legal troubles, the point guard position has been of major concern for Alabama fans this offseason. We may have received at least part of the answer today, as Anderson Diaz has made the decision to reclassify.

Diaz looks an awful lot like a left-handed version of Aden. He is small, fast, can get to the rim and light it up from deep. He still has room to grow as a distributor, though his highlight tape features some high level passing.
The ideal situation is for Aden to get cleared so that he can be the lead guard, allowing Diaz to come along slowly early in the season. If anything goes wrong there, however, Diaz will get an opportunity to prove that he is ready for prime time.
