Ederson: Man United overtake Atletico Madrid after verbal agreement – report
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atalanta star Ederson has prioritised a move to the Premier League, and Manchester United have overtaken Atletico Madrid, reaching a verbal agreement with the Brazilian.

Manchester United have continued talks with Atalanta star Ederson in recent days, reaching a principle of agreement with the 26-year-old, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
Manchester United leading the race to sign Ederson
According to the report, the Red Devils have a verbal agreement with the Brazilian midfielder and are due to begin talks with Atalanta.
Gazzetta claims that Ederson has prioritised a move to the Premier League, so the Red Devils are now leading Atletico Madrid in the race for the Atalanta star.

Reports earlier this month suggested that Ederson also had a principle of agreement with Atletico Madrid too, but the Colchoneros were reluctant to match La Dea’s €40m asking price.
According to Gazzetta’s latest report, Atalanta’s demands are slightly higher, at around €50m, but Ederson is about to enter the final year of his contract, which expires in 2027, which might allow any suitor to secure a lower price.
