Patrick Ngongba II is listed as probable for Duke basketball's ACC showdown against Clemson on Saturday, Feb. 14.

The starting center appeared on the ACC’s initial injury report released Friday night. The final availability report will be released two hours prior to Saturday's tipoff.

Ngongba missed No. 4/6 Duke's game at Pitt on Feb. 10 with what coach Jon Scheyer said was a wrist injury he sustained during the UNC game on Feb. 7. Scheyer said after the win over the Panthers that it was "hard to say" if the 6-foot-11 sophomore would be playing against the No. 18/20 Tigers.

Ngongba is Duke's third-leading scorer, averaging 10.7 points per game, with 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He has started in 22 of Duke's 24 games, playing an average of 22.7 minutes.

Maliq Brown started in Ngongba's place against Pitt while Cameron Boozer also slid into the 5-spot. Brown fouled out with a little more than two minutes remaining, scoring two points across 24 minutes.

Saturday’s matchup between Duke and Clemson features the ACC’s top two teams and marks the programs’ first ranked meeting since the 2017-18 season. Clemson was the only team to beat Duke in ACC play last year, earning a 77-71 win at home.
