The Duke Blue Devils have two players expected to be top-10 picks in the upcoming 2025 NBA draft. Of course, Cooper Flagg is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick barring a shocking change. Kon Knueppel is also projected by many to be a top-10 pick.

Knueppel, who originally committed to play at Duke as a five-star prospect out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, did not disappointing during his freshman year.

Throughout the 2024-25 college basketball season, Knueppel played in 39 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 14.4 points per game to go along with four rebounds and 2.7 assists. He also shot 47.9% from the floor and a sizzling 40.6% from beyond the 3-point arc.

Looking ahead to the upcoming draft, there are quite a few teams in the lottery who would love to bring in an elite shooter.

With that in mind, a major new prediction has been made about Knueppel and where he might land.

Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report has released a new mock draft. In that mock draft, Knueppel was projected to be selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the No. 9 overall pick, joining forces with Victor Wembanyama.

"Adding De'Aaron Fox reduces pressure for the Spurs to add more creation," Wasserman wrote. "They'll likely be drawn to the idea of adding of shooting, space and sound decision-making around Fox and Victor Wembanyama, which would put Kon Knueppel in play with one of San Antonio's two lottery picks."

Being able to play with the Spurs alongside Wembanyama would be a perfect fit for Knueppel. His ability to space the floor would help open up the offense even more for the generational big man.

Of course, this is only a prediction. No one will truly know what will happen with Knueppel and where the Duke star will be headed to begin his NBA career until the draft arrives on June 25.
