Ethan Evans, a senior golfer on Duke’s men’s golf team, finished No. 20 in the final PGA TOUR University Ranking, earning membership on the PGA TOUR Americas for the remainder of the 2026 season, as announced by the PGA TOUR at the conclusion of the NCAA Championship.
Finishing among the top 25 players in the final rankings helped Evans secure an exemption into the Second Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School, presented by Korn Ferry, which tees off with the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open presented by Syndeo on June 25-28.
The Washington State native wrapped up his senior campaign by tying for 10th place at the NCAA Championship with a 7-under-par 281. The finish was the best individual performance by a Blue Devil at the NCAA Championship since 2006.
Through his senior season with Duke, Evans recorded five top-10 finishes, including three top-five showings and one tournament victory. He also tied for first place at the ACC Championship with an 8-under-par 208, matching the third-lowest 54-hole score in Blue Devil ACC Championship history.
He continued his stellar play into the postseason with a final-round 3-under-par 69 at the NCAA Marana Regional, helping lead Duke to the NCAA Championship.
Evans ends his Blue Devil career as one of the most decorated golfers in program history. He concluded his career ranked eighth in Duke history with a 72.18 stroke average, second with 36 rounds in the 60s, third with 59under-par rounds, second with 75 rounds of par or better, and tied for fifth with 10 career top-five finishes.
He arrived in the Bull City as the top-ranked junior golfer in the state of Washington according to Junior Golf Scoreboard and leaves Durham as one of the elite players in program history.
