Drew Brees returns as a full-time game analyst for FOX Sports in 2026

It's a busy year for Drew Brees -- after being inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, the legendary New Orleans Saints quarterback will be lending his analysis to NFL broadcasts every week throughout the 2026 season. On Tuesday, FOX Sports announced that Brees will be back in the booth with Adam Amin.

Brees replaced Mark Sanchez midway through last season after the former NFL quarterback was arrested in Indianapolis. He did a solid job filling in on FOX broadcasts down the stretch, and now he's back for more. Here's what the network said in an official press release:

Multi-sport play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, in his seventh season with the network, pairs for the first full season with 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and Super Bowl XLIV-winning quarterback Drew Brees, who ranks second all-time in league history in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Multi-sport broadcaster Kristina Pink handles reporting duties for the crew in her 14th season with FOX Sports. They open Week 1 at 1:00 PM ET with the Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers.

The Saints have plenty of games featured on FOX broadcasts -- eight of them, right now, barring flex scheduling -- so there's a good chance we'll have Brees on the call at some point in 2026. Let's hope the Saints are playing well enough to do him proud.
