Drake basketball coach Eric Henderson adds Loyola Chicago transfer Jalen Quinn to roster

Drake men’s basketball has landed a commitment from former Loyola Chicago guard Jalen Quinn.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Illinois native announced his commitment on social media on April 17.

Quinn appeared in 37 games in the 2024-25 season, starting 13 of those contests. He averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game, while playing 20.5 minutes. He shot 47.7% from the field and 22.9% from 3-point range.

In three seasons with the Ramblers, he averaged 5.2 points, 1.9 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 17.6 minutes per game.

Quinn is the second player to commit to Eric Henderson’s roster this week, joining Jaehshon Thomas out of Charlotte.
