Has anyone seen the TSN draft guide in stores. I have the Kiper guide, but I sometimes like to look at the colorful TSN guide.

Got It

They were excellent in their picks last year (they had our first 2). I think their forte is knowing who will go in what round.

I bought the TSN guide at Barnes & Noble at the beginning of the month. Three days ago, I bought PFW's draft guide at Barnes & Noble. (They were both in the Sports section of the magazine rack).

(According to Hub Arkush, 70% of the guide represents the final draft notes of the late Joel Buchsbaum - I really miss his cryptic comments:

"Looks Like Tarzan/Plays Like Jane", "He'll Make Your Draft or Break Your Heart" and "All Pro From the Neck Down."

Suggest you pick up a copy. It's a keeper.

Thanks for reminding me.

I picked up TSN draft guide on the way home from work at borders. It was buried between some other mags, but I found it.

7$.

Kinda funny looking at the mock draft, with how much has changed in rumorville vs. when it was published. They have McGahee going in the 3rd.

I picked up the PFW gide and the TSN guide. Neither seems to be as good as usual, the TSN guide especially. Did that thing go press around Jan. 1 or something? Too much dated info and some of their comments just stink. For example, almost every draft guide I've read makes mention of Andre Johnson dropping to many catchable balls and then TSN says that he has the best hands in the draft.

I haven't read it yet. My biggest complaint with TSN is that they do not give season stats. Does PFW give those?

I think we're being spoiled by the Internet and other forms of electronic media - which gives us info in real time.

Before that, the draft guides were our only lifeline. (And before that, Street & Smith).

The PFW guide gives stats for every year a player played in college... and occasionally includes some highschool info too.
