After a rather sluggish first half of the season, Serhou Guirassy is climbing back up, rediscovering his goal-scoring touch.

The Guinean international (26 caps, 2 goals) played a decisive double role against Atalanta Bergamo on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League play-offs.. Scoring and providing an assist, he was instrumental in his side's 2-0 win.

Since the start of February, the Arles-born striker has posted an impressive record of 6 goals and 1 assist in 4 matches. A run that brings back fond memories for Dortmund fans, as well as for supporters in Guinea.

After notching his second brace of the season on February 1 against Heidenheim (3-2), he struck again with a goal against Wolfsburg (1-2) on February 7. A week later, he bagged another double versus Mainz (4-0) before finding the net against Atalanta Bergamo (2-0).

The former Stuttgart and Stade Rennais striker now boasts an overall tally of 16 goals and 6 assists in 33 matches this season.
