United States President Donald Trump returned to "The Pat McAfee Show," with plenty of sports-related topics to discuss.
Trump's interview with the ESPN personality on XXXXXX (date) came on the heels of his recent appearance at Game 3 of the NBA Finals and coincided with the start of the 2026 World Cup and UFC Freedom 250 festivities at the White House.
Trump previously appeared on "The Pat McAfee Show" during McAfee's Veteran's Day broadcast in November 2025 from the Parris Island Marine Corps base in South Carolina.

UPDATE: Federal lawsuit aims to stop UFC Freedom 250 fight at White House
UFC Freedom 250 is set to take place in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, June 14 and it's headlined by two championship fights. Champion Ilia Topuria will take on Justin Gaethje in a highly anticipated lightweight title bout, while Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane face off for the UFC's interim heavyweight title as part of the seven-match card.
McAfee could have a big presence there after he revealed in January that Trump had given his show approval to broadcast from the White House on conjunction with UFC Freedom 250. McAfee said he made the request after Trump invited the former Indianapolis Colts punter up to his suite at the College Football Playoff national championship game.
Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to attend the NBA Finals when he sat in a Madison Square Garden suite at the invitation of New York Knicks owner James Dolan during Game 3 on Monday, June 8. Trump was booed by the crowd when shown briefly during the national anthem.
Trump has frequented major sporting events during his second term as president, with appearances at the Super Bowl, college football national championship game, Ryder Cup, Daytona 500 and numerous UFC events. Last year, he also attended the U.S. Open men's tennis final in New York.
Trump also recently endorsed the Protect College Sports Act that would redefine the regulations related to how the NCAA and its teams conduct business with players and coaches in the name, image and likeness era.
