The Miami Dolphins are looking to rebuild their entire team after Jeff Hafley and Jon-Eric Sullivan took over the team this offseason.

They've cut ties with a lot of key players and are in full-scale rebuild mode. But if there was one spot that could use some help, it would be the wide receiver room.

After seeing the New England Patriots officially trade for A.J. Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dolphins decided to sign a former Eagles WR of their own, adding, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Jalen Reagor to the WR room.

Dolphins to sign Jalen Reagor after A.J. Brown Patriots trade

"Another receiver signing: the Miami Dolphins signed WR Jalen Reagor," Schefter reported the day after Brown was traded to the Patriots.

Comparing the Patriots adding Brown to the Dolphins adding Reagor, both former Eagles receivers, shows the direction of each franchise. The Patriots are vying for a Super Bowl, and the Dolphins are just trying to build a roster to get through the season.

With Malik Willis in Miami, the Dolphins needed to improve the offense. Running back and tight end are fine, but wide receiver is a big issue for this team.

The current WR room features Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, Malik Washington, Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, Kevin Coleman Jr., Tahj Washington, Theo Wease Jr., Terrace Marshall Jr, and now Reagor.

The former Eagles first-round bust is 27 years old and has bounced around the NFL the last few years. He caught 31 passes for 396 yards and one touchdown in his rookie season, and followed it up with 299 yards and two touchdowns in year two.

Reagor left the Eagles and has since recorded at least 100 yards in every season, but no more than 140 yards, including last year for the Los Angeles Chargers.

This signing from the Dolphins, juxtaposed to the Patriots' trade for Brown, is hilarious. Miami is adding a former Eagles bust at WR, while their AFC East rivals are adding a WR who might be one of, if not the best, WRs in Eagles history in a blockbuster trade.
