After trading linebacker Jaelan Phillips at last year's deadline and both wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick this offseason, the Miami Dolphins have a full war chest of selections to make in the 2026 NFL draft.
However, with their rebuild that they don't want to call a rebuild, the Dolphins could use even more swings early on, so in a new mock draft of all trades, ESPN's Bill Barnwell projects that Miami could trade pick No. 30 and linebacker Chop Robinson to the Baltimore Ravens for pick No. 14.
Having two first round picks is extremely valuable, but having two in the top 15 is even better, and while Robinson is one of the team's best players on the defensive side of the ball, they could find his replacement in this trade.
Robinson, 23, was Miami's first-round pick (No. 21 overall) in the 2024 NFL draft out of Penn State, and in two years, he's appeared in 32 games and recorded 47 tackles, 21 quarterback hits, 10 sacks, five passes defensed and one forced fumble.
With so many holes on the roster, this could give the Dolphins two premium opportunities to speed up their rebuild and make them a contender within the next few years.
