The Los Angeles Dodgers are hoping to get back on the winning track against the Milwaukee Brewers after losing 5-1 to the team that they swept in the NLCS last year.

For Saturday’s game, there will be no Max Muncy after he took a pitch to the wrist in the eighth inning, forcing him to leave the game.

The Dodgers are hoping Muncy will only need a few days of rest to get the swelling down and can avoid an IL stint.

In his place, Santiago Espinal enters the batting order, hoping to get a bit of consistent playing and leave an impression to keep his baseball future in the majors alive.

Additionally, with the Dodgers facing a left-handed arm, they will be rolling out Miguel Rojas in place of Hyeseong Kim at second base.

Rojas has not gotten much run since the Dodgers have been facing mainly righties recently, but he gets a crack on Saturday afternoon.

Dodgers Lineup vs. Brewers

1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
2. Mookie Betts, SS
3. Freddie Freeman, 1B
4. Andy Pages, CF
5. Will Smith, C
6. Kyle Tucker, RF
7. Teoscar Hernandez, LF
8. Miguel Rojas, 2B
9. Santiago Espinal, 3B

After his day off on Friday, Will Smith is back in the lineup again vs. lefty Robert Gasser. He will be looking to get out of his slump.

This match-up actually suits the Dodgers as currently constructed, given that their righties have been hitting better than their lefties over the past couple of weeks.

Teoscar Hernandez has been one of the best hitters on the team, while Andy Pages and Mookie Betts continue to make contact.

When given chances, Miguel Rojas has looked good as well.

Who is pitching for the Dodgers today?

Roki Sasaki is up on the bump today. He has really put together two encouraging starts over his last couple of outings, finding something with his new conventional splitter that is complementing the forkball well.

The Brewers are a big test for Sasaki, with their ability to put the ball in play and patience. He will need to throw strikes and hope to get either weak contact or straight up whiffs.
