Shane McMahon is a bit of a renaissance man. He's the son of a disgraced wrestling promoter, certainly, but also a respected businessman in his own right. And he earned the respect of the WWE locker room by falling off massive structures at various points throughout his career (please, try to ignore the ignominious quadriceps incident that forced Snoop Dogg into in-ring action at Wrestlemania).
This all makes him a fairly recognizable figure. So recognizable that, say, if he were to ding up a stranger's car while parallel parking, someone watching would do a double take before muttering "wait, is that Shane O'Mac?"
Per Reddit user zeth2death, that's precisely what happened April 13. They saw a car get scraped by a black minivan with New York license plates, only for the driver to emerge looking a whooooole lot like the man whose baby punches helped convince a generation of young fans that pro wrestling was, in fact, predetermined. McMahon, as it turns out, had reason to be in the area at the time. His son Kenyon is a sophomore defensive back at the University of North Carolina.
The Tar Heels' Practice Like a Pro day, held instead of a traditional spring game, took place April 12. Since Kenyon has yet to see the field at UNC, this would have afforded McMahon a chance to watch his son in action for potentially the first time since wrapping up his high school career. But did he scratch up someone's car while parking en route to smashing a couple hot dogs the day after the game? McMahon has yet to address the (extremely minor) accusations.
