Did Ravens hint at potential draft selection? originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
For most, the Baltimore Ravens' biggest draft need in the first round is offensive line, and the franchise has to address the loss of Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum.
With several players catching the eye in mock drafts, the Ravens, it appears, could have their choice of offensive linemen at No. 14.
Spencer Fano and Olaivavega Ioane have been the two players most mocked to the Ravens, so maybe there is a little bit of smoke there regarding who the franchise could select.
And Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta likes the look of the offensive line class this year.
"I think it's a deep board," DeCosta said via the Baltimore Sun. "You've got guys throughout the first round, second round, all the way through. Players that we think would be good value in the sixth and seventh rounds and could hopefully fall to us."

Lamar Jackson needs protection
The odd thing about Baltimore's 2026 season is that the franchise will have a first-time head coach, but will also have Super Bowl aspirations.
But to make sure that the Ravens can get as close to that as possible, Lamar Jackson has to be protected, and losing Linderbaum in the offseason wasn't ideal.
However, if the Ravens can take either Ioane or Fano in the first round, that will solidify the interior of the offensive line. Plus, the franchise might look to further address the offensive line later in the draft as well.
So it appears one position, at least in mock drafts, is a big priority for Baltimore, and now with DeCosta's comments on the offensive line class, maybe, just maybe, we've gotten a hint at which way the Ravens could be leaning at pick No. 14.
