When the Bears made several questionable moves, including drafting punter Todd Sauerbrun in the second round and trading a first-round selection for quarterback Rick Mirer who was washed up in Seattle, Graves received more than his share of the blame in Chicago. I'm not sure if he was responsible for those moves or not, but he was seen as the scapegoat by some people. After seeing his draft choices today, I'm starting to understand why the Bears got rid of him.
