Baseball history is filled with numbers, with impressive stats that show a player's greatness.
Arizona Diamondbacks superstar Corbin Carroll is currently putting up stats that no one ever has before.
OptaStats shared that Carroll has a combination of five numbers that have never existed before the end of April in MLB history:
- 6 doubles
- 3 triples
- 3 home runs
- 16 RBI
- 11 walks
Carroll punctuated his way to this history with a game-winning grand slam on Saturday night.

It's actually kind of amazing that this has never been done before. Those numbers are impressive, but they don't seem impossible.
Carroll has also achieved the feat through action on April 18. Everything he does from here on out will be adding to the accomplishment.
It's fair to point out that this season started in late March, but since Carroll made this happen with double-digit days remaining in April, that's sort of a moot point.
It's really just one more example of how special a ballplayer Carroll is. He isn't a big dude, and he looks like he should be fast, but he's also powerful and patient and capable of just about anything on a baseball field.
His only task now is to keep his hot April going and carry it through the rest of the season for Arizona.
