The vibes are decent right now for the New Jersey Devils (26-22-2). They want it to continue visiting the Vancouver Canucks (17-28-5) on Friday night in Rogers Arena.

In their last meeting, the Canucks had a bit of a shot in the arm after shipping out Quinn Hughes and bringing in three key pieces to their future in Zeev Buium, Marco Rossi, and Liam Ohgren. The Devils dropped that game on home ice in regulation, which was near the beginning of disastrous play for the Devils.

However, the Devils are winners in four of their last five games, and three of those wins are against playoff positioned teams.

With their position in the standings, tonight is a game the Devils can ill-afford to give away.

Let’s dive into tonight’s matchup.

What to Know vs. Canucks

— The Devils and Vancouver conclude their 2025-26 regular-season series, after the Devils dropped a 2-1 contest against the Canucks on Dec. 14, 2025, at the Rock.

— The Devils have won three consecutive contests at Vancouver since Nov. 1, 2022, and have recorded five, or more goals, in all three of those games.
