The Detroit Lions' already shorthanded offensive line is down another player.
The Lions downgraded guard Kayode Awosika to out for their game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Dec. 4, after previously listing the lineman as questionable with a foot injury.
Awosika started the past four games at left guard in place of the injured Christian Mahogany. He first appeared on the Lions' injury report Tuesday as a limited participant in practice and was downgraded to no practice on Wednesday, when the Lions held a walk-through.

Starting center Graham Glasgow is expected to return to the starting lineup against the Cowboys after a one-game absence due to a knee injury.
Trystan Colon, who started at center in last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers, could start at guard in Awosika's place.
The Cowboys (6-5-1) have one of the best interior defensive lines in the NFL, led by tackles Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark.
The Lions (7-5) also placed tight end Brock Wright on injured reserve with a trachea injury. Wright will miss at least the next four games, and could be done for the year with just five games left in the regular season. He told the Free Press this week his injury is similar to one Frank Ragnow suffered in 2020 when he fractured cartilage in his throat.
Starting tight end Sam LaPorta already is out for the season after undergoing back surgery, leaving the Lions with Ross Dwelley, Anthony Firkster and the newly-acquired Hayden Rucci at tight end.
The Lions signed cornerback Nick Whiteside from the active roster to the practice squad and elevated receiver Malik Cunningham to the practice squad to the gameday roster for tonight.
