The Dallas Cowboys have made an addition to their defensive line room.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Dallas is signing former New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard.
The deal is a one-year pact and has a max value of $2.5 million, Garafolo adds.
"The Cowboys are signing veteran DL Jonathan Bullard," Garafolo reported. "Bullard is signing a one-year, $2.5M max deal."
Bullard spent last season with the Saints, appearing in 15 games (six starts) and posting 26 tackles, four tackles for loss and two passes defensed.
Why Cowboys signed Jonathan Bullard
The Cowboys had a need more more depth along the defensive line after trading Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers.
Bullard offers versatile depth, also, as he can play both inside and out.
