NEW YORK – Corbin Carroll’s speed and timing on the basepaths are back on full display. His third triple of the 2026 season was a blast at the top of the seventh inning, and it was more than just another highlight. Carroll looks locked in early, and when he’s at this level, the Diamondbacks’ offense starts clicking like a well-oiled machine. Ketel Marte and José Perdomo are waiting in the wings, but Carroll can be the catalyst.

Corbin Carroll gets third triple of the 2026 MLB season:
Statistically, Carroll is chasing history. MLB’s all-time triples leader, Chief Wilson, set a pretty high mark of 36 in 1912. Carroll already owns the D-backs’ top two spots in franchise history for most triples, and could climb even higher past his record of 14 triples back in 2024 and 17 triples back in 2025. Carroll’s 2026 start positions him to potentially dominate the leaderboard once again, highlighting the strategic impact of having a true game-changing leadoff hitter.

For D-backs fans, Carroll represents more than stats; he embodies hope and momentum. His triples don’t just fill the box score; they shift games, energize the crowd, and force pitchers into mistakes. The psychological lift of a hot Carroll at the top of the order can ripple through an entire lineup, turning close games into commanding wins. If Corbin Carroll maintains this trajectory, the Diamondbacks aren’t just watching franchise history; they’re making it with every triple, driving both team success and fan excitement toward the MLB record books.
